• Communication Teams :

Teams of seasoned and aspiring communicators work in different parts of the YWAM world producing magazines, maintaining regional websites, serving as translators for global projects, etc. Their role and influence are steadily increasing. Team members and advisors will share their knowledge of what such teams can accomplish on the field. We hope to see more communications teams emerge at CRIT 2009.

CRIT '10 Goals :
~ Developing new Comm Teams in Asia
~ Developing existing Comm Teams

• Multiplying Communicators :

One of the primary goals of CRIT is to come up with effective ways to multiply communicators within the Mission. The Basic Communication Workshop (BCW) is an example of the result of previous discussions within this working group. We will look into creating Advanced Communication Workshops (ACW) and discuss strategies and action plans to effectively jump start more YWAMers in the field of communication.

CRIT '10 Goals :
~ Recruiting - Communication in DTS, Schools, Value Communication Campaigns, localized CRITs etc.
~ Training - BCW, ACW, UofN integration, Schools/Seminars, Unequip,

• Mind the Gap :

Great material is meaningless unless it reaches YWAMers in a format that they can actually understand and access. We call finding ways of making material available to our remote locations “minding the gap”. There are still gaps in translation, gaps in Internet access and gaps in culture, among many other “gaps” that separate us as a global family. This working group is designed to be practical, matching needs with relevant action plans to actually help us “mind the gap.”

CRIT '10 Goals :
~ Identify and research for Technical solutions
~ Identify and help YWAM bridge Cultural gaps
~ Language translation strategies
